QHC are excited to announce that this year, Spiegelau Glasses will be attending the conference.

Spiegelau, the world’s oldest glass manufacturer, produces a range of specially designed beer glasses to enhance the pleasure of drinking fine beers. By altering the shape, angle of delivery and overall design of each glass, Spiegelau glasses can improve the taste of your beers.

But writing about it won’t convince you – you need to taste the difference these glasses make. So, we are running a separate Beer Glass Class, as one of the side presentations during the day. A presenter will take you through the 4 Spiegelau beer glasses and 5 beers, and show you how each beer is improved using a Spiegelau glass. At the end of the demonstration, you get to take home the glasses, and you’ll never drink from a cheap beer glass again!

If you just think this is all hype, you’d be disagreeing with the likes of Sam Calagione (Dogfish Head) and Ken Grossman (Sierra Nevada) who recently collaborated with Spiegelau to develop a unique India Pale Ale glass, chosen after hundreds of tastings and a blind vote.

There is a cost for this particular presentation. The demonstration is usually $55, but for the QHC, we have been able to arrange a price of $45 for attendees. The Spiegelau glasses you take home at the end have a RRP of $59.95, so if you have thought about trying out some great beer glasses, this is the time to do it.
